I had the absolute pleasure of being served by Alissa today, and she was fantastic! Her cheerful attitude, genuine smile, and upbeat energy made the whole café experience even better. She was friendly, attentive, and had all the right words to make customers feel welcome and valued. It’s rare to come across someone who clearly loves what they do, but Allissa made it obvious. The service was flawless from start to finish — she really brightened my day! Highly recommend stopping by this café — and if you’re lucky enough to be served by Alissa, you’re in for a treat.
I’m a regular here, and every time I’m made to feel soo welcome! The service is swift, delivered with a smile and the food is consistently of great quality. Such a fab team and each person a real credit to the business!
Its a Dome and as they go its okay. I'm not a fan of long time refrigerated cake doesn't appeal at all. Just had coffee instead so can't pass judgement on anything else. Its clean nice location and atmosphere and the young folk were very courteous, credit to their service.
Been a bit hit and miss. We love the chicken & the pumpkin soups. Add some garlic bread & it's awesome. We had one time when the garlic bread was horrendous, so hard it could break teeth. Eventually we complained and had fresh garlic bread within minutes. All good.
A nice restaurant with colonial style decor. I found the menu a bit restricted, plenty of burgers and wraps. A few Australian favourites but would benefit from some more fish and meat choices. That said, the food was served quickly and was very good. The staff here a very friendly and helpful. I liked that the background music was in the background! I also think the choice of seating and table styles is nice, a mix of open plan tables and booths. There are also comfy armchairs for relaxing with a drink and snack. I was a bit surprised that it was very quiet at 6pm on a Sunday but it was a pleasant experience and reasonably priced. I would visit again.
Best coffee I've had in a very long time. I asked for a half strength almond latte, as standard coffees these days are far too strong which makes it really bitter. The barista explained how they make their coffee and that all latte's are made with 2 ristrettos which makes them weaker than a standard coffee. Really good to know and honestly, it was the best cup of coffee I've had in years! Thank you!
Staff are always friendly and great customer service. Atmosphere a little lacking though. Need music in the background pr something more to make it a little more inviting..
I've heard some people say that the service here can be a bit inconsistent, but personally, I've never had any issues. I absolutely love the food here and the summer seasonal classics menu is simply amazing! If you're looking for a recommendation, I highly suggest trying out the Tropical Prawn & Mango Salad - it's hands down the best dish I've ever had at Dôme!
